Chapter Zero

Every brand has a beginning. Not every beginning needs a grand explanation.

For YUNS, the story starts in 2010, in Antwerp, Belgium. A city where old streets meet new ideas, where fashion is part of the conversation, and where individuality has always had a place.

But beginnings are funny things. They rarely tell you everything about what comes next. A name, a place, a particular moment in time. Sometimes, that's all it takes to mark the first page of a story.

Antwerp is a city of contrasts. Historic architecture stands alongside contemporary spaces. Busy shopping streets lead into quiet corners. What feels familiar to one person might feel entirely new to another. There is always more than one way to experience it.

And perhaps the same can be said about fashion.

What someone chooses to wear can mean something different from one day to the next. A familiar accessory might take on an entirely new character when paired with another outfit. Something simple can become interesting through an unexpected combination.

YUNS entered the world of handbags from this Belgian starting point. The name, the city, and the year remain part of its identity.

There is no need to turn every beginning into a legend. Sometimes the most interesting stories are the ones that leave room for what comes next.

After all, chapter zero is never the whole book.
